Our Basic Obedience Group Class is designed for owners who want a well-mannered dog while enjoying the benefits of training around real-world distractions. Over five weeks, you and your dog will learn the foundational obedience skills needed for everyday success, including sit, down, stay, loose-leash walking, place, recall, and more.

Classes are held outdoors at our Ball Ground, GA training property, providing a structured environment where dogs can learn and practice skills around other dogs, people, and everyday distractions. Class sizes are limited to six dogs to ensure every team receives individual attention and coaching throughout the course.

Whether you’re starting with a young dog or simply looking to improve manners and reliability, our Basic Obedience Group Class provides a fun, supportive environment to strengthen your relationship with your dog and build skills that carry over into daily life.

During this five-week course, you and your dog will learn the foundational skills needed for everyday success. Topics include sit, down, stay, place, loose-leash walking, recall, engagement, and basic manners around distractions. Each week builds upon the previous week’s lessons to help create reliable obedience both at home and in public.

This class is designed for dogs that need a solid obedience foundation or a refresher on basic manners. Dogs should be comfortable working around other dogs and people in a group setting. If you’re unsure whether your dog is a good fit, please contact us before registering and we’ll be happy to discuss your situation.

Registration requests are reviewed before acceptance into the class. If approved, you will receive a Square invoice by email. Your spot in class is not reserved until payment has been received. Once enrolled, you’ll receive class details, a welcome letter, a cancellation policy, and any required paperwork before the first class.
