Training Built Around You and Your Dog
Every dog is different, and your training should reflect that. Private dog training in Ball Ground gives us the flexibility to focus on your dog, your goals, and the skills that matter most in your everyday life. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all plan, we can focus on where you and your dog need it most.
Whether you’re starting with the basics, working on better leash manners, improving recall, or building reliable obedience around distractions, we’ll work together to develop practical, real-world skills. Training can be tailored to where you are now and where you want to be, whether that means laying a foundation with a young dog or fine-tuning skills you’ve already started.
Just as importantly, private training isn’t only about what your dog learns during our time together. I’ll help you understand how and why the training works, how to communicate more clearly with your dog, and how to keep making progress. The goal isn’t simply a dog who listens when the trainer is there. It’s giving you the knowledge and confidence to build lasting results together.
Private Training Options
Private training is available as individual sessions tailored to your specific goals or through a structured Basic Obedience Program. Whether you need help with a few specific skills or want a complete foundation in basic obedience, you can choose the format that best fits you and your dog.
Custom Private Training | Starting at $125
Custom private sessions are built around what you want to accomplish with your dog. Rather than following a predetermined curriculum, we’ll focus our time on the skills and challenges that matter most to you. Sessions can cover basic obedience, loose-leash walking, recall, place, impulse control, engagement, manners around distractions, and other everyday training goals.
Most private training takes place at our Ball Ground property, where we can work in a controlled environment while still incorporating real-world distractions.
On-Property Training: $125 per session or 3 sessions for $350
Mobile Training up to ~15 minutes away: $150 per session
Mobile Training up to ~30 minutes away: $175 per session
Mobile training is available on a limited basis depending on location and availability.
Private Basic Obedience Program | $400 · 4 Weeks
For owners who want a more structured training experience, the Private Basic Obedience Program covers the same foundational skills taught in our Basic Obedience Group Class through individualized, one-on-one instruction.
Over four weeks, we’ll work on essential skills including sit, down, stay, place, loose-leash walking, and recall, while adjusting the pace and training to you and your dog. It’s a great option if you prefer one-on-one coaching, want more individualized attention, need greater scheduling flexibility, or have a dog who isn’t ready to learn in a group-class environment.
